February Bead Journal project – I run into a hitch

The Widget Corporate offices:

There’s several things working this month. One is we’re totally swamped at work (the the picture of my “life” above). And two, is that I wasn’t “feeling” the second doll I made.

I think someone on the Bead Journal blog mentioned that it’s hard to do a “journal” of something that isn’t over yet – and I suppose that’s part of my problem this month.

However…..

My goal is to FINISH things. So, I must finish (and believe me – I tried to talk myself into an extension over and over again).

I ended up completely sewing a new doll and going in a totally new direction

She’s going to be simple and I’m playing more with “sculpting” her into a shape I like. We’ll see – but it’s going to be done on Sunday! Yay!

It’s not a great picture, but see where the pin is? I’m wondering how to get that to sink back a bit more? I can put some beads and embellishments in there, but I’m trying to get those arms to stick out farther – suggestions?

So here theme is ” things that won’t quite finish and won’t quite start” – we’ll see. That’s how my whole month has gone – not just the BJP. Our bathroom remodel is on hold, our work projects won’t end or really get going. It’s been a frustrating month.

So, we’ll see how this all plays out.
