Happy Nothing Day!

My daughter came up with this as a description for our New Year’s Day…which we have for a few years designated as “tech-free”. She says it’s nothing because we aren’t allowed to do anything! (can you see how computers/television are a big part of our lives?). We’ve now decided we may extend this to the first Sunday of the month…just for togetherness and to force us to put away the laptops! 🙂

I hope you all had a fabulous New Year’s! We had a great time with friends and I’m now spending Jan 2, organizing and cleaning. I think the kids and I are almost done with their toys and tomorrow I can’t avoid my studio. However, my friend just dumped a ton of fabric on me (oh, how horrible) and so I need to find room for it.

In it, is some really cute zebra print stuff and fur, so I’m going to dig out my stuffed animal pattern and give it a try. We’ll see.
