I’m Sewing Mama, I’m sewing!

I’m up late, stressing about life and yet updating my sidebar with my projects I’m working on. Oddly, with too much going on, I’m actually finding a lot of comfort in digging out some old projects and completing them!

The baptism pillow is in the mail (hooray) and I dug out my daughter’s kitty quilt and plan on finishing it….it’s actually going faster now that my friend suggested I “TAKE OFF THE HOOP”. This may seem silly, but removing the hoop from the monotonous blanket stitching has helped me move along faster and also I can see the picture emerge as I stitch. So, two blocks down, only 4 to go and it’s going to be a wall hanging! Hooray!

The greatest news is that my Ribbon tutorial was featured on the “Sew, Mama, Sew! Blog”, my friend Claudia encouraged me to submit it and so there’s the link! Wave if you found me from the SMS Blog! 🙂

Ok, well I’m finishing my glass of milk and I’m off to bed. Night all!
