Not quite done, but a success!

I am done with the cat quilt blocks. I don’t have any desire to count the inches of button hole stitch, but I can tell you it will be a long time before I use it in a project again!

I started piecing it today and ran into technical difficulties (I can measure and I have a heck of a time with quilting math. I had a glass of wine and it still didn’t help. Grin! So I’ll get back to figuring out the piecing this week.
We’ve been elbow deep in crazy projects the last few weeks – mostly organizing – and I can now say that we’re fairly organized. Well until we aren’t! Ha!

Note: In case you don’t read my blog regularly and haven’t been reading for the two years I’ve been working on this. This piece is all needle turn (read hand appliqued) and then hand embroidered. No fusing involved.
