Share photos on twitter with Twitpic So, I was excited by this storm – now THESE are storm clouds!! Before the rain, I took the kids out and showed them what real “pre-tornado” clouds look like – really fluffy and tornado like. We usually don’t get them that look like this in Denver.

So, about 20 mins and a downpour later we see this:

FUNNEL CLOUD on Twitpic There was a tornado warning for north-east jefferson county, but not us (we’re nw Denver). Then the warnings started coming. Makes me wonder if it had been a faster moving tornado if that warning would have been a bit late? Anyway, sirens went off and we headed to the basement.

Very exciting.
