The Quilt that Walked To Golden

Ok, so I tried to actually do this so it didn’t look like a shameless plug (trust me, except for the click throughs to Amazon, I don’t have a connection). I got this book for Christmas and have been “stuck into it” as my father in law would say. It’s really good and well written (if you’ve read “The Persian Pickle club” you’ll know the author) – it reads like a novel.

At any rate, living in Colorado and being into quilts it’s a really interesting book. It’s even got a great section about crazy quilting with some excellent examples.

Next Stop…the Denver Art Museum, which houses several of the quilts!!

Also, I don’t know who else picked up on the link on Sharon’s blog, but the Sewing rooms list is back (someone moved it or something). It’s really fun to drool over some of the fantastic sewing rooms!
