So, last night I gave my Mom the project I was working on for FOREVER….my grandmother’s needlepoint project that she did the design on, but had never finished the background on. I finished it (heaps of BORING needlepoint) and made it into a pillow.

Here’s a side view:

I was really really proud of it. The back fabric is a piece I found at an estate sale and loved on site. I’m glad I found such a perfect “home” for it. And the tapestry fabric around the design matches almost perfectly. I was amazed, because it’s a really really odd color.
Anyway, fun to have it done and I think my Mom appreciated it.
