If you aren’t familiar with her, Jennifer Chiaverini writes the The Elm Creek Quilts Novels . These are great stories, and if you love quilting they are a lot of fun (even if you just like good friendship stories). She weaves in information about quilting in a lot of different settings, etc. including the Civil war underground railroad.
Anyway, I was looking at her website (hadn’t been there in a while) and she now has a blog. You have to go to her site and then click on the menu item “weblog”. It looks like it’s new, but she’s posted a picture by her son, etc. Plus, there’s a weekly contest to win one of the elm creek quilt pins….kind of fun!
