Back to Crazy!

Oh my! HUGE news in the CQ world today – check out this FABULOUS  Crazy Quilt (not mine, but it’s a HUGE inspiration – isn’t it?)
What’s more fabulous? It just sold for $70,000!! Woo hoo! Validation for anyone who does hand work – there are people out there who are amazed by the work and truly are inspired by it! Congratulations to Bobby – I’m ashamed to say, I hadn’t found her blog before, but I”ll be following now.

Now, my more humble news is I just took delivery of this: My wonderful friend Rhonda did me the HUGE favor of squaring and sewing this together. I had started embellishing it several years ago and put it away – now my skills are a LOT better, so we’ll see. I’m going to work with what I’ve done and try to “make it work” (yes, I’ve been watching “Project Runway”)
