Back to it!

Back to it!

So, I had my Crazy Quilting group meeting today. Here’s the round robin I finished to swap (I was supposed to be two…behind!):

It was actually a HUGE issue because the wheelbarrow was there as well as the sequin butterflies and pearls. The colors on the block are on odd arrangement, so I added the feather stitch, the BIG butterfly and the red and purple roses…all in an attempt to unify the block.
I find block swaps to be an interesting way to look at other techniques and to try to unify mine with their ideas. Sometimes this is really really challenging.
I also bought some thermalam (sp?) to put on the back of the “real” project I’ve been wanting to start for a while.
If my “hemming of pants” (BLECK!) goes well tomorrow, I’ll get to it and start it! Can’t wait!
Anyway, I’m here. With starting our new business and moving my “other blog” to WordPress, I’ve been kind of out of the loop! 🙂 More next week I promise!
