Crafty roundup!

I’ve had a few links I’ve wanted to post for a while, so bear with me – this may not read like a normal thread (a little scatter brained). First, for beginniners or even advanced who want a handy guild, be sure to download this fantastic little guide from Sew mama Sew!

And then this past weekend – our RMCQ group had a little shopping field trip and I really had to stop myself from drooling all over this Fairy book from Di van Niekerk. Wow! That’s all I can say! I actually bought a coloring book with fairies and now I’m dying to do one of these! Seriously, go look – it’s worth the trip over there! Oh she also is on Facebook and posts fabulous photos, so be sure to look for her there!

I have NO idea where I found this, but…..click, look closer – it’s river rock! Isn’t that cool! Wow! Talk about texture! Isn’t that awesome. I would NOT want to wear that to a cocktail party, but still, isn’t it just spectacular?

And also –

OMG http://www.bubblecalendar.com/! Really, isn’t that enough said! Who wouldn’t love this. I think the bad part would be that time would pass quickly because I wouldn’t be able to stop popping….would you?
Finally! A little plug for the amazing crazy quilter Betty Pillsbury – who’s herbal business has a  Wrist rub that is now a permanent item on my bedside table. This stuff is fabulous! I’m sure you can imagine that stitching + computers is a bad combination for the carpal tunnel and aching wrists of life. And this stuff is herbal and fabulous – and reasonable! I even have a few of the gals in my Crazy Quilt group hooked on it too!
