Happy belated halloween

Happy Belated Halloween! I meant to post yesterday, but yikes…with a school party and a short break – then out for neighborhood trick or treating, it was a busy day! Here are the kids watching “The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown”…best shown with commercials! 🙂

Then of course the parties at school. Alec was a race car driver. I love the variety of costumes…some of the homemade ones were the best! The ghost in the middle was a riot – just a white knit cap and a sheet!

Missy C chose to be “Kim Possible the way she dresses at school”. About all we had to do was try to color her hair orange (food coloring) – she seemed to have fun and what a great ninja behind her, eh?
We all went down the street and went “Trunk or Treating” at the church down the street. The people from the church decorate up their car trunks and hand out candy…they serve hot cocoa and cider. It’s great!

Halloween is over and except for the huge bowl of candy in our house, today it’s “back to normal” and getting things done around the house.

I’ve been trying to get my “other blog” working on WordPress and so have been distracted by that, but I have several draft posts I’ve been meaning to post here. So, we’ll see. Hopefully this week!
