I get to go see Robin Atkins! Yay!

I’m headed this weekend to the Rocky Mountain Bead Bazaar! Yay!

I’m so excited to meet Robin Atkins , who I have followed via her blog and been amazed by her talent. See the picture on the right and drool! I swear I’d just post her pictures on my blog if I thought I could get away with it! Anyway, the class I’m taking from her is :

Techniques of Bead Embroidery

Learn all the basic stitches of bead embroidery, plus many variations, fringe techniques, and edging methods! With the sampler you make in class and the handouts as guides, you’ll be able to embellish many future projects with bead embroidery.

Ooooo! I’m so excited, can you tell? If you live in the Denver Area be sure to check out all the events happening this weekend over on my column at the Examiner! There are also some new store profiles, so if you just want to go shopping, check those out too! 🙂

I haven’t had any time at all this week to work on stitching – but this weekend shall be my beading and stitching extravaganza! So, I’m sure I’ll have photos to post soon!
