More Brazilian flower progress

We just got back from a short (but really fun) trip around Colorado – so more photos to come. However, I wanted to share the results of my second Brazilian embroidery class with you. Here’s the progress on one side of the caddy:

Here’s a close up of the daisy – with a whopping 45 wrap bullions on the outside and 40 on the inside:

Then, my new favorite – the “old fashioned rose” with a ton of bullions – starting with a 10 wrap and working up to a 24. Then edged with a cast on. Isn’t it pretty? I’m going to tuck one more little bullion in the middle to cover up that hole and there will be three of these in the center.
